Job Description
Position/Title: Production Supervisor
Department: Production
Reporting to: Production Manager Responsibilities
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output
Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
Organize fish cleaning and skinning personnel, manage shift attendance
Monitor and manage housekeeping activities-cleaning equipment, floor, drainages, work surfaces, curtains, walls
Supervise loin cleaning
Maintaining communication between employees and senior managers to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood
Management systems implementation; Food safety, Occupational Health and safety, Quality, Environment management Reporting; prepares daily, weekly, monthly reports
Any other role that the management may assign from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
· 2+ years of professional experience in food industry
· Excellent documentation and presentation skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Profound knowledge of quality control standards
Working conditions
Expected long standing hours
May be required to work in chilling conditions and sometimes above average temperatures
