KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery or equipment, following the specifications and using hand tools or other devices.

Preparing manufacturing machines for production on time

Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.

Repairing all induction motors, hydraulic pallet trucks (hand lift trucks)

Troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems and make necessary repairs.

Read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Collaborate with the engineering team to refine mechanical operations for enhanced efficiency and quality. Document mechanical maintenance and repairs, and maintain company equipment records. Assist in inventory management of machine parts and tools.

Participate in continuous improvement projects and workshops.

Can do any other role that management may assign from time to time

Experience in a manufacturing company, especially food industry. I would prefer someone with more than 5 years’ experience in the same position.

Skills and Qualifications
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar field.

Minimum 10yrs experience as a Mechanical engineer in the food manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of mechanical devices, tools, and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with food industry standard equipment and technical expertise.

Capable of reading and understanding engineering blueprints and schematics.

Certifications in mechanical repair, types of welding, or a related field are an advantage
