Somali Public Agenda

Somali Public Agenda is a non-partisan and non-profit public policy and administration research organization based in Mogadishu. Its aim is to advance understanding and improvement of public administration and public services in Somalia through evidence-based research and analysis. The Somali Public Agenda (SPA) and its partner, the Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat (ReDDS), are conducting a study that will help identify key barriers to and opportunities for enhancing inclusive and meaningful participation processes for displacement-affected communities in Somalia. The study specifically concentrates on how bridging and linking social capital can promote the inclusion and meaningful participation of minority IDP groups in Baidoa, Kismayo, and Mogadishu around the key decisions that shape their lives. The study will raise questions, highlight gaps, present the existing good practices and their replication, and provide recommendations. The recommendations are generic and require to be converted into a more technical and actionable way.
