Amaano Boarding and Day School is a modern school established for the betterment of future generation and schooling system in Somaliland. Amaano School consists of boarders and day scholars. The school covers KG (KG1 up to KG3), primary (grade 1 up to 8) and secondary school education. Amaano was established in September 2014 with the inspiration of setting up tangible change in Somaliland society through proper education. The demand and inspiration of producing qualified learners equipped with knowledge, skills, attitudes and good culture, makes the school and gives its unique characteristics. For the school syllabus to be covered, students are engaged 6 hours per day and five days per week. Amaano boarding and day school provides a conducive environment for learning and encourages student success and higher performances. For the activities to be carried out in Amaano Boarding and Day School, it also engages qualified teaching staff. Furthermore the school encourages the socio-cultural Islamic ideas where the Quran is one of the main teaching aids especially for the boarding students.
